Sometimes you get lots and lots of stuff done during the day but you still lay in bed at night worrying about the stuff you didn’t do. CUT THAT OUT! You were amazing and productive today and the stuff that is left is how you get to be amazing and productive tomorrow.

I am feeling really good today. So you know what I am going to do? Nothing. You can do that. You can feel fine and just sit there continuing to feel fine. You ask: What will you accomplish? Feeling fine is an accomplishment.

You should always love folks for who they are and not what they have. But if someone you love for who they are has something you also love - and will share - don’t be ashamed if your heart adds some more love.

Mom is having a sentimental week. She cries watching videos of dog rescues and soldier reunions and babies’ first words and old people holding hands. She worries it may last more than a week. What if it’s all year? She hugs me a lot. So I’m all for it.

Sometimes you can cha cha all night long. Sometimes your neck needs help holding up your head. And it’s still the same nice you. Remember that when your friend isn’t listening to your story. Just wait until she’s in a more cha cha place.

When it comes to taking care of yourself, I don’t like the words “indulge” or “spoil” or even “pamper.” They sound like you are doing something bad. Do something good for yourself and call it something good. Try “comfort.” Comfort yourself.

Listen up! The physical difference between an ugly human and a beautiful human is really tiny - because basically you all look alike. But INSIDE the difference between ugly and beautiful is HUGE. Work on that please.

I’m not a morning person. But today when I got out of bed (finally) I got heaps of praise and hugs. I’m not saying that folks should should be rewarded for doing just the bare minimum of what they should. But I am saying, once in a while, Why not?
