❄️ A Winter Storm Watch (yes) has been issued along the Gulf Coast. Expect snow up to 8 inches in places from late Monday thru Tuesday.

❄️ 7-10” of snow looks to be likely when all is said and done for parts of Michigan. The biggest problem today and tonight will be 40-50mph wind, which will cause significant visibility and drifting problems on the roads.

❄️ YESTERDAY: A powerful lake effect snow system affected areas from Erie, PA to Dunkirk, NY. Many motorists lacked preparation. Catch live coverage in a few hours as additional heavy accumulation is on the way.

RadarOmega shows the heavy lake effect snow band in western New York this morning. Expect a northward shift in this band throughout the day. These types of snow events are particularly intense, and are caused by cold air flowing over the warmer lake waters.

❄️ Lake Effect Snow: Ashtabula, Ohio to Buffalo, New York look to be ground zero for anywhere from 2 to 4 feet between Friday morning and Monday! A second zone of significant snow will be near Watertown, New York. Things are just getting started in Ashtabula. Find it live soon on YouTube.
