I usually struggle with patience, but sometimes I actually enjoy taking extra time to add details. I made some building concepts for a spare-time project last year, hopefully it comes together soon!

A huge part of Spirit Crossing's visual style is the cel-shading and outlines! Everything is modeled for the appearance of these shaders and how it renders in Unreal. That means using soft edges where you don't want an outline and hard edges where you do.🧵

A little char design thread: I haven't gotten to do much character design in my career so far, so it was quite fun to get to design a bunch of the NPCs who call Spirit Crossing home. One thing you learn is that sometimes after 20 different hairstyles, your original plan was not too bad after all
