We had a great discussion this morning with @sarahfoxhistory.bsky.social and @dresztersimon.bsky.social about their emerging interdisciplinary project (History and IR) examining trust and confidence. We hope they received a lot of helpful feedback for their future grant applications. Best of luck!

We had a great "problem-solving" session yesterday, talking through several challenges that members are facing with their research on trust (and related concepts), from analyzing interviews to developing grant applications. Great to have a supportive community of researchers!

We had an excellent presentation from, and discussion with, and Nick Wheeler and Chiara Cervasio on their fantastic work with Mark Saunders, where they are developing a model to capture the process from distrust to trust and applying it to the 1998-1999 Lahore Peace Process.

We had a great gathering today, where we touched base on the research the group has been conducting this year and what they have planned for the future. It was good to celebrate successes (publications on the way!) and share frustrations over work-in-progress and grant applications!

We had a great discussion today as members of our group shared how their different research-focused projects (articles/book proposals/research grants) are developing, outlining the challenges and opportunities that exist in connecting their research on trust in IR within IR.

We had a great discussion today about future plans for our informal network and how we can develop our collaborative outputs. Great to hear all the emerging ideas and to see the collaborative dynamic we developed since 2020-21 at work! Watch this space.
