We want to give a special shout out form yesterday to the volunteer managers who attended our appreciation event for #IVMDay2025. There are so many Volunteer Managers who are doing so much, and we love to be able to connect like this!

Number 3: How has volunteering impacted you? With #IVMDay25 we recognize volunteer managers, but the reason they exist is to make your volunteering experience is positive, enjoyable, and makes an impact. Let them know about the connections you made, the joy you spread, and happiness you feel!

Part 2 of #IVMDay25 appreciation is something that everyone always likes to hear: That they are important, and how they affect you! This can be as simple as keeping you on track for volunteering, to giving you an awesome reference, to a gesture or token of appreciation they gave you!

Its #IVMDay25 and we want to be able to appreciate all of the great things that Volunteer Managers do in #WaterlooRegion and Beyond. Here is the first thing to recognize a volunteer manager, and it's super simple: Say Thank You! Kind gestures mean a lot, and a simple thank you is always welcome!

We Continued our program last weekend, with the key focus of Networking! It's a key skill that youth need to develop, and older adults have had to practice! It was also a great way to build connections before delving into more games, conversations and snacks. This week will be about confidence!
