Bluetongue again. Many Welsh farmers will be thinking of sending sheep to overwinter either south or east. We've been lucky enough to avoid bluetongue so far, but those areas haven't. Vaccination beforehand will protect your ewes and rams and the crop of lambs that should be due in 2026 1/2

Bluetongue found in England last week. One was a sheep that was put down for welfare reasons in Oxfordshire. The others were cattle in Herefordshire found by pre movement testing, that were heading to Wales. It is serious, but is near #DoNotWaitVaccinate. #NacOedwchBrechwch DON'T underestimate it!
