It was particularly fitting that, on Int'l Human Rights Day, I could share my thoughts with Newsweek on Iran's new Chastity and Hijab law, which I described as "a dystopian project straight out of Orwell's 1984 that inevitably leads to a widespread culture of surveillance, conformism, and control".
