Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (2025) Fantastic remake of the original that doesn't abandon any of the old stuff, rather just adapts it to the modern Trails style of gameplay. Great English VA, gorgeous visuals. Only the downgraded localization compared to XSeed's serves as the only blemish on it.

CITY THE ANIMATION (2025) Immaculate comedy series with peak vibes. Constantly presenting some of the best and inventive animation throughout all its episodes. Dub is also really really good, though its funny that they didn't even bother to dub the final half of the finale. Come on now.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac (2025) Excellent remake of the original and is priced really nicely too. Entirely changes bosses and one of the worlds so its worth also checking out the original. Bursting with post-game content too. Really happy with the entire thing. Some nice story/voice acting as well.

Trails into Reverie (2020) Easily my favorite of the Trails series by a large margin. Incredibly fast paced with a unique structure and a combat system that feels like the equivalent of the end of Gurren Lagaan. Main story was fantastic, as was the side content. Post game finale was incredible.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) As a film its probably a bit weaker in terms of characters and writing but has significantly more people being violently eaten so its equals out for me a little.

Looney Tunes Back in Action (2003) They just let Steve Martin do whatever back then. Daffy Duck deserves to headline all films.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) Kingdom Hearts III ReMind

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle (2025) The first in a trilogy of films adapting the series final arc and it shows. The intent is obviously giving cinematic production values for the shows ending. I figured, and enjoyed this immensely. Those expecting a normal movie will die in the last 45 minutes.

Lazarus (2025) Shinichiro Watanabe’s new anime is gorgeous and filled with awesome setpieces and music but also it ends up not really saying anything. Its take on more episodic storytelling is executed the way detractors for Cowboy Bebop talk about Bebop. Sadly, a style over substance situation.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (2025) Excellent 2D action game with some light Metroidvania stuff. Combat feels great and there's plenty of challenging platforming/traversal stuff. Tee Lopes and Yuzo Koshiro OST and gorgeous visuals. One of the games of all time.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land + DLC [Switch 2] (2025) Forgotten Land was already a content rich Kirby game and as their first 3D Kirby surprisingly immaculate. This Switch 2 version just shines it up, gives it great performance and the new DLC levels/bosses are a great bonus. Final Arena whips ass.

Kirby Star Allies (2018) Being the last big 2D Kirby game (atm) it feels like this bombastic finale, further enforced now that its fully updated with tons of returning characters. Probably my favorite finale to these and playing on Switch 2 it runs quite nice. Though upping to 60 would be dope.

Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards (2000) Immensely delightful game with one of my favorite soundtracks in the series. Mixing powers is dope, and I really enjoying 100%ing it. Did you know originally World 5, Shiver Star was gonna be called Pac-Man but they localized it as Doki Doki Literature Club?

Kirby's Dream Course (1994) Cool Kirby-themed golf game. Played both the main four multiplayer courses and the extra courses. A lot of unique mechanics, adaptations of Kirby's enemies/powers. Its genuinely crazy they haven't just made a new one of these.

Kirby's Dream Land 3 (1997) Amazing artstyle on this one and hits a good balance on difficulty. Powers tend to just be the better option for a lot of bosses though since some take a bit too long to give you projectiles. Shame the 100% requirements are so stingy since the True Ending is awesome.

Kirby Super Star (1996) Immaculate game. Obviously gets perfected in the DS remake but the SNES one with co-op remains an absolute banger. Let's ignore the original Wham Bam Rock. Plasma is such a GOATed copy ability.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 (1995) Takes the Adventure formula and adds animal buddies and a thing to collect to get the True Ending finale. Dark Matter is a pretty dope design. I bounce between liking it over Nightmare. This game is also evil and is constantly trying to trick you which rules.

Kirby's Adventure (1993) Its cool to see how much of Kirby's formula is figured out this early. Copy abilities, Cool Meta Knight fight where you grab the sword, badass evil dude final boss, mixing in bonus minigames ect. Final Boss is such a flex on NES but the slowdown makes it a... Nightmare!

Kirby's Dream Land (1992) Delightful game. I like when it becomes a shooter. Kabula is cool. This was peak 25 minute gaming.

Prison Break Season 5 (2017) This one does some retconning of Season 4 events to slot this extra season in but they actually find a pretty good way in. First half in Yemen was pretty boring but as the plotlines merge it gets pretty good. Thankfully the season has a definitive end. I enjoyed it.

Prison Break Season 4 (2009) The final season of the show until they did another one in 2017. Plotlines continue to be numerous, alliances and betrayals happen almost every episode, it almost gets exhausting. But I think it ends strong, similar to 24 where I wish they didn't come back again.

Trails of Cold Steel IV (2018) Without question one of the most triumphant games I've ever played. Honestly one of the best paced games in the series for me and used its gargantuan cast to great effect. 9 games in, this climax had the time and weight it deserved. Loved it. 10/10, my new favorite.

Prison Break Season 3 (2008) This season is 9 episodes shorter than previous (Writers Strike) but its still good. Probably my least favorite season despite being good because the antagonist rep for THE COMPANY is terrible. When every line is focused on trying to sound tough you end up intolerable.

Prison Break Season 2 (2007) They're out of prison, hunting for treasure, evading junkie FBI agents, THE COMPANY, and anyone who sees their face on TV or in the newspaper. Great season. The amount of times characters run into each other or make/break alliances is so funny I started crying.

Shin Godzilla 4K Re-Release (2016) First time viewing. The visual effects show their age, but not in a way that really bothered me. Japan's own governmental structure being such a hurdle for them to push through was also cool to see. The Atomic Breath sequence really was worth the hype.

The Naked Gun (2025) One of those perfect comedies in that its telling jokes so frequently it doesn't give me a chance to fully process that the previous one was bad. Constant movement and more hits than misses. S'good. Even in a theater of 5 people the OJ joke still kills it with the crowd.

Prison Break Season 1 (2005) This is everything TV was about in the 00s. A desperation to keep you watching across a 22 episode season doing WHATEVER it takes. Its about a Prison Break, some assassins, an illuminati-esque conspiracy, there is either extreme racism or a rape every other episode.

Blue Box Season 1 (2024) Gorgeous romance series about highschoolers brought together by their passion for excelling in their sports of choice. Some of the most realistic teens for a show like this. Constantly overthinking things, and thankfully creating conflicts that feel natural and earned.

War of the Worlds (2025) Without question one of the worst films of the past decade. A new version of War of the Worlds from the perspective of a DHS agent on his computer Amazon movie with so much product placement that this had to have made them profit automatically.

TLoH: Trails of Cold Steel III (2017) Without question my favorite game in the series thus far. The jump in visuals, gameplay, and at some points music is insane honestly. They made the first game where I loved the combat just as much as the story. Also one of the coolest final lines in an game.

King of the Hill Season 14 (2025) Everything I could have wanted for a revival. The writing is just as sharp and it feels fresh now that they allowed the characters to actually age. KOTH was always one of the best adult sitcoms so it feels good it never missed a beat. Mike Judge clears.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army (2025) Finally playing Raidou and was floored by the places this story goes past the inciting incident. Its so cool. Action SMT is fun but can't really compared to turn-based. Also I have some issues how fast some devastating attacks come at you.

Donkey Kong Land 3 (1997) Decided to try one of these GB DK games. I've been told over the years they're basic demakes but nah they're still unique in their own right. Unique level layouts, 5 main worlds, multiple level gimmicks from the original DKC3 are fused into one. Actually pretty solid.

The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 (2025) A step up from the first season honestly. Has the same comfy vibes as mysteries get solved and occasional jokes about castration. The arc in the back half was really excellent and had such a perfect finale. Excited for more Maomao in S3.

Soulcalibur II (2002) This is for the Weapon Master story mode. It's great. They didn't need to do anything insane. Just a fun map with stages with various gimmick fights, and plenty of text to describe your journey and the people you meet. Its fun to swap weapons and unlock stuff.

Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) Dude you gotta check out the new Marvel. It's pretty nuts.

Peacemaker Season 1 (2022) Managed to avoid everything about this show except for Jordan hyping up how big John Cena's junk is. Anyway its quite good. The bird really punched this show up like 3 points.

Donkey Kong Country: The Legend of the Crystal Coconut (1999) This is four episodes of the show spliced together. I owned this as a child and watched it 70 times. Mostly good picks of episodes though it focuses a bit too much on the Pirates. Also the episode splicing order is insane.

Donkey Kong Country Returns (2011) Has a lot of what eventually becomes amazing in Tropical Freeze, but isn't fully realized yet. Significantly harder than the original trilogy as well as Tropical Freeze. Mostly down to an ABUNDANCE of 1 hit KO vehicle levels. Enemies/non-DK designs are so bland.

Jurassic Park (1993) Incredible film. Glorious adventure vibes. Dude should have just built a Six Flags.

Donkey Kong Bananza (2025) It is 1995. The best Nintendo game is the newest Donkey Kong game. It is 2025. The best Nintendo game is the newest Donkey Kong game.

Super Mario Odyssey (2017) Replayed in prep for DK Bananza and it holds up super well. Not super hot on some of the Kingdoms in this on replay (Lake mostly) but its a nice breezy time Final couple levels are really good though, and I adore the final sequence. Bowser fights continue to be just Fine

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (2010) Raunchy anime with the energy/pacing of a 2000s-era Cartoon Network show. This show is great. Like 40% of the show is intolerable and bad. But this is also the appeal. Gets real good when the hot demons show up. Anyway, Stocking and Kneesocks.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (2014) Immaculate platformer that blends really solid mechanics with cinematic flourishes like you're barreling through an Uncharted setpiece every other level. Bosses are a bit too long. And some enemies lean closer toward Rayman Rabbids-tier but still peak.

Superman (2025) Pretty great. Gunn respects the audience's intelligence and doesn't waste time with origins or basic Supes concepts delivering a fun a Superman story. Bright colors, cool characters, action scenes that feel fresh (I REALLY like the camera work on these) #TheGunnDoesntShootBlanks

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes S1 (2025) Really good prequel/spinoff to the main series. Focusing on less powerful characters in a street-level story gives this a unique and cool feel. I could see some preferring this over the main series due to this. Also its VERY well animated and the OP is peak.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (2025) Like Metal Gear Solid 2, DS2 stands as one of the best game sequels ever made. A very emotional game like its predecessor, but where the original's ending is a bit messy in its execution, DS2 knocks everything out of the part with its finale.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX (2025) Its the Gundam equivalent of when Sora Kingdom Hearts goes into a new established world and becomes its problem solver Priorities are pushed only to one side and the 12 episode count makes the lopsided balance feel worse. Still had fun but could be so much more.

Metal Gear Solid 3 (2004) Feels like the most streamlined MGS so far. Less focus on a Metroidvania-esque central location and more funneling you to new areas for bosses and other set pieces. Very very good on a gameplay front. Probably the weakest narratively for me. Good for context at least.
