OKAY deleted a bunch of pages and reformatted some stuff and now i have a printable length of photos and it's a little tricky to figure out the exact places I should fold but i think i'm do a little cover/ backcover for this zine so it's a little more sturdy

new update on this project: i made 15 pages for my mini photo zine that i was gonna gift my friends for christmas but my baby thermal printer starts overheating at page 9 so now i'm like guess i gotta go redo everything

i feel like it might be the tattoo transfer paper because the thermal printer works well by itself with normal receipt paper sooo i went ahead and bought a cheaper roll of riso paper from ebay that's going to get here by january so fingers crossed that it helps me figure out whatever's going wrong

okay so i got my hand on some tattoo transfer paper and tried to put it through my baby thermal printer and the results arent great :/ :/ :/

I want indie comics and zines to be trendy at cons so bad! I want artists to feel free to express themselves and connect with other fans with a bunch of cheap stapled photocopies, I want anyone who wants to practice their storytelling to be able to do so without worrying about not selling enough!

playing around with my thermal printer in the meantime, tryna see if i can make a photo zine with it maybe 🤔🤔🤔

so i was really missing riso printing the other day and i decided to look up if there were any alternatives and stumbled upon one of riso's own inventions, the print gocco (it makes stencils from one use flash bulbs and then has a mesh for you to paint through, it's like screenprinting sort of)
