I was told point blank multiple times in the last year that I was "missing something" about OpenAI and was "dead wrong" but not one of these people could say why. Not a single person has an argument as to how OpenAI will become a real business. They're all pie in the sky

Putting aside the real lack of any killer generative AI app or the very clear diminishing returns, it costs billions of dollars to train and run a model that costs billions more than it makes with no path to profitability of any kind. What are we doing? What is going on? Have we all gone mad?
