Well, the title combined with the Hero's name clued him into where he was. "Ah, well. I hope they hate fire then. You seem more than well equipped for that situation."

"Never heard of a pop quiz? I only had to check in with the security team and then they gave me the clear." Snake nodded, a quick glance past the other. Furrowing his brows.

"Oh yeah? And I should just take your word for it?" Snake performs a quick pat down to try and find any weapons on the other. Standing back afterwards. "In my position, would you trust me?"

"Good thing I got here when I did then. . . Granted it wasn't my choice, but still. Still, do you think you'll be able to outlast everyone here?"

The soldier leaned down to grab the device, offering it to the other. "Well I'm supposed to make sure people report on suspicious items and dangerous things in the workplace. Was going to fail this place but with you reporting it, that brings the score up."

"Fine, turn around." Snake said, if he was going to comply then there's no need for any violence. "You can be the thing that gets me caught, knowingly or not, that's a danger to me."

"Is that where I'm at?" A look around the surroundings then a slow nod. "Ah, well. I'm not going to question the monster camps thing." A glance down to the other, tilting his head. "What exactly are you?"

Snatching his hand away from the seemingly dead appendage. "I ain't gonna die he-" The sentence was cut short when a sudden flood of pain wracked his body. Causing him to fall to his knee.

"Don't like to leave evidence." Snake raises an eyebrow, the other seems eager to do something with his hand. "Got your next move thought out? I'd think very carefully about it. I can get to you before someone gets to this room."

"So you go around and burn things that you think are trash?" A moment, tapping a finger to his chin. "Seems like textbook definition of arsonist fella."

"Seems like a good friend, but he could tear up the country and wouldn't find you." Snake replied, taking a step closer staring down the other. "Wouldn't even find this box if I didn't want him to."

A hand moved to his hip, drawing the tranquilizer weapon from it's holster. Looking at the box, ready for action when it started. "A more serious answer huh?" A moment to think and mull it over. The sounds on the outside of the box had him wondering if it was just a kid doing graffiti, but the -

Seems like he was getting ratted out. Can't afford to get caught though. The box is quickly flung off, Snake takes a glance over the other. "Sorry, surprise safety inspection."

Snake reaches up to his shoulder, trying to grab whatever took hold of him. The bell? A bell? Where was it coming from? He grits his teeth, running on pure adrenaline sparked by fear. "The hell are you?!"

"It is the most peaceful place in the whole world. The box is a place of safety, and comfort. An ideal tool for any agent in the field."

"Sure is." Smoking down the cigarette, he snubs it out on the wall before flicking it into a trashcan. "As someone who advocates for less violent solutions, you might have to do it. Unfortunately. Or just kill the person in charge."

His eyes narrow, unsure if the other is feeding him bullshit or not. "A regular citizen, I see. So nobody would look for you if you were taken huh?" A tilt of his head, gauging the others reaction for the moment.

"This feels way too coordinated for some kid to have just snapped. All those weapons, backup bodies and the rest of these preparations all take time to pull off. Don't know what happened but it definitely has all the bases covered." He blows out the smoke off to the side. "Anyone escaped yet?"

Blue eyes look him up and down, taking him in. Slowly he tucks the knife into his sheathe. "I'm following a lead, heard something I'm looking for is here." Snake folds his arms over his chest. "Why wouldn't you have a weapon on you?"

"A robot bear. . ." Every detail just seems to get him more and more confused. Pinching the bridge of his nose. "Real fucked situation I guess. What happens if you turn the bear off?"

"You're not wrong about that, if it comes up I'll let you know." He looks like a kid but. . . Doesn't give off the vibe. "What's your name?"

Watching the other jump back Snake notes he's observant. Though that was obvious from how he was caught. The voice was definitely an act but that doesn't mean they couldn't back it up. So after Rose grabs the box, Snake quickly stands up. Tossing the box onto the other and drawing a weapon. -

Snake acknowledges now that while this was ideal for infiltration, he really ought to stick to going in via truck instead of the front door. As the box is lifted, Snake is revealed. A deadpan stare at the other, finger to his lips.

This feels like one of Mantis' illusions he'd heard about back in the day. Eyes locked onto the face, petrified by that ominous feeling. Instinctively he stands, reaching for a weapon on his hip, finding the comforting grip of his SOCOM. One fluid motion he draws and takes aim behind him.

Snake leans against her push, and just holds there. The heavy comment draws out a very faint chuckle. He remains still though, hoping that she'll give up.

Snake had just started using two hands to push, almost breaking the box as the hammer is lifted. . . But for now it's fine. As the weapon taps against the box he just takes a moment. Peaking out from the flap. "Sentient box." The soldier answered back. Assuming that if he wanted to. . . Shoot(?)-

"What kinda twisted. . ." Looking around, then lighting what's left of the cigarette. A long drag. "Well, least you didn't cave in." A beat. "How is she keeping you all trapped here? Can't you just leave through the front door?"

"As fun as that sounds a ghillie suit is impractical for the noise. You ever carry a bunch of leaves around a building?"

He's rusty, should have waited longer. A shake of his head, but he draws a knife, the tip slowly finding where the foot was positioned. "Someone you don't need to see." The voice was slightly muffled by the cardboard but the tone was threatening.

It gains some ground. Snake is glad he wore gloves today but the sharp nail is testing the integrity. Places a second finger against it. Hopefully whoever it is will get bored.

Snake nods slowly, grabbing the ball and tossing it back. "Snake, I don't have a title or anything so lets just stick with that. Who's running around attacking people? That. . . Sai- person you said?"

His hands shake, first time since that first mission with FOXHOUND. He flips the paper around, using his lighter to see just what was on it.

Assuming he's in the clear, one of the flaps for the handles slowly lowers, folding it outwards to get a view of his surroundings. Rose is out of view, he can only notice the door to the next hallway. Slowly inching along the wall.

The familiar smell of smoke, though not his preferred type. Snake stands up, and tosses the box off. Patting out the flames to the best of his ability. "An arsonist?" Looks over the other once again. "Definitely look the part."

He felt something land on the box, and saw it start caving in. Putting a hand at the roof of the container he tried to push it. Brows furrow, as he pushes to no avail. "What the hell?" Snake whispers from inside.

"Well, I have a knife. Don't have to worry about me using it." The box top pops open and the soldier stands up. Looking to where the baseball landed and the dent in the wall. "What are they feeding you kid? That's a mean fastball."

Standing up, then placing his hands on his hips. A disappointed glance to the weapon. "Well. . . Should have looked." A squint at the other. . . How bizarre. . . "Well it didn't work, so we can call it even."

His heart is beating fast enough that he could hear it in his ear. It feels nauseating. He pats himself down to make sure there isn't anything on him. Then moves to feel around the box gently. It's not in here is it? Then he feels the push down. Almost like it's caving in. Eyes go wide. Holding-

Snake looks at the nail as it starts to cut the tape. He holds a finger up to try and stop it from making progress.

Suddenly the unlit cigarette in his lips is much shorter as the ball goes straight through one end and out the other. Snake peaks out at the other from the new hole.

The barrel of a tranquilizer gun pokes out before a dart is fired at the other. Poking his head out after to see if it worked.
