Pub 3359, Bridge Inn (Trust), Peebles. Pub of the weekend. All I can hear is the rattle of dominoes from old boys in their Sunday best, and Walk like an Egyptian by the Bangles. Eye patch guy winked at me, or did he blink? Who knows..

Pub 3355, Burt's Hotel, Melrose. 'Only £6' she says! But with a carpet this luxurious, warm welcome, quality beer, and fluffy old ladies talking about tropical canoe bites, and then, nephew London rappers called Cosmo, I'm quite content.

Pub 3348, Coeur de Lion, Bath. What a beauty! Small red n boxy. Dude gets me aboard the 5.3% Black Friar and he ain't wrong. More fool the majority of dorks sitting out in the street like utter dorks. Even my ancient cricket man is off. People have no taste.

Pub 3347, Pulteney Arms, Bath. Quality HPA in pretty dull pub with Arizona lady is much needed. Elderly guy Peter fell off Zimmer n wife called me into their home to help. A BRAPA first! Not that 999 or 111 were much help. But we got him back up. No action shots 😁 .

Pub 3346, Curfew, Bath. Hanging basket led corner cutie with a London bent and Bass which tastes like it has been dredged from bottom of the Trent, in a health giving way you understand! Found a snug with sliver of 7/10 carpet. Staff can tell I'm ticking 💣
