I did a little playing around and… Chill Pills now has a custom cursor! (I also removed a chunk of build 2 that repeated info of stuff that had just happened in the story— it was causing pacing issues)

I got so excited releasing the build that I forgot to mention two CG’s were done by guest artists!! I credited them in the VN itself, but forgot to shout them out 😭 Both @karebeast.bsky.social and @/sappyotter (insta) did wonderful jobs on their respective pieces!

I’ve decided to commission the last two CG’s for Build 4. They’ve been what’s holding this build back from being released. And to be honest, I’m just so tired of thinking of them 😭 I’m not going to rush the artist to get them done because they make banger art.

I’ve been slowly hacking away at the art for Build 4. The art for some of the CG’s in this build are kinda out of my comfort zone for drawing, and that’s why it’s not out yet. I apologize for not releasing the build yet. I want the art to be finished for you all.

I thought I might be able to get Build 4 done by the end of the month, but now I’m not so sure :/ Kinda sucks that I might not reach my goal, but if I push myself too hard, I’ll get burnt out like I did after Build 3 released.

Heya! At some point, I’m probably going to make a devlog or a bigger post about this, but— Chill Pills isn’t going to be cancelled. At first, I was super demotivated and crushed when I heard the news about Itch. But, I’ve come to realize that I’ve got more of my story to tell.

I promised some people who were down bad for Roman that they’d get to see his peen someday. Well, lucky for them, that day is today. This nude sprite variant will NOT show up in Chill Pills. This was just a fun little thing I did to give back to those who’ve supported me. <3

I know it’s been a little bit since I’ve said something, but— I’m still working on stuff! Last week was a break week for me, so I didn’t really do much work on the VN. There have been ups and downs with my mental health that affect the progress, but I promise you, I’m doing my best hehe

Thanks to the people who’ve beta read so far! I’ve gotten some good feedback, and I’m much happier with how Build 3 is looking. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’ll be out this month. But I do think it’ll come out next month, so stay tuned!

Progress on Build 3 has been a little slower this time around. I’ve been having to train my brain mentally to get used to a new schedule. New things happening in my life throw me for a loop. Still trying to do the best I can though!

Build 3 is currently at 4k words and counting! I’m working towards having it done by sometime in April, but that could potentially change. I’ll be starting a new, full-time job. That’ll take away some development time, but I’m not planning on stopping the visual novel.
