NieR Gestalt is so interesting as someone who's played Replicant 1.22... first. Graphically, how it controls, animation, voice direction. But I'm still enjoying it regardless and I know I'm going to continue playing it

My take is that you're allowed to watch someone else play a game and still enjoy aspects about it without actively controlling it. There's plenty of factors as to why someone would and most of it is pretty valid. As long as you're pretty transparent and don't lie about it.
