i always find it interesting when a video game has an explicit "try not to kill people" mechanic. Death Stranding had the whole voidout threat. turns out Chernoblyte has a sanity mechanic to encourage non-lethal problem solving. I like it.

revisited #farcryprimal and finally got the last achievement i've been missing for years. also, on replay, i found a pair of south tribe in a...very compromised position when capturing the town. kind of felt bad for ruining things for them.

Replaying Assassin's Creed Revelations and i'm struck by the graphical difference btwn it and the original Assassin's Creed. both were xbox 360 games, but the difference in detail is striking.

#DeathStranding accomplishment: managed to link up a few isolated ziplines to create a path from mountain knot to the mountaineer and spiritualist tonight. not the most efficient routing and whiteout conditions on the mountain means you cant really see for part of it, but it works!
