Re Tyson Foerster, per team source: he's continuing to rehab from injury to a tendon near his elbow, and will have an MRI next week to check on the infection that developed. Flyers still hope he can be ready to start the year -- but there's a ton of uncertainty until then, too.

Something that I think can't be overlooked with the announcement of the new Phantoms' coaching staff is that Riley Armstrong's influence in the organization seems to be growing. Worth keeping in mind as this rebuild continues.
