It's unfortunate that the masters of this are seemingly lost. But! The quality definitely adds to the dark and grimy feel of the film. The 30min doc with director Kokusho was superb in getting a better idea of his thoughts while filming, and the haunting soundtrack is a 45min extra as well

We are very sad to learn that filmmaker Jamie Blanks has passed away at 54. Jamie Blanks directed the horror films Urban Legend, Valentine, Storm Warning & Nature's Grave. A family statement reads, "Jamie passed away suddenly at his home in Melbourne, Australia, on Monday."

Undertone looks like an interesting horror concept. Audio has always been one of my favorite parts of film, and the utilization of it in horror never disappoints. Trying to pick whether to see that or Ready or Not 2 in the next couple of days is tough though
