Id rather there be a lot of stories that dont all click with me personally than fewer stories that are so smoothed over for mass appeal that the most i can say is "thats competently made". We already got that in Disney. We dont need more of the same.

On an ontological level I just don't want to ever work for a company again. I was working for DC comics and Blizzard when I was 20; I have nothing to show for it. I also worked for an indie team for many years; I have nothing to show for it. A company can never love you. Projects are just words.

This is the comic I just finished. I plan to release the first two chapters for free, while I’ll keep chapters 3, 4, and 5 as a sort of ‘final weapon’ to be released later. I’ll only sell the PDF version at a fair price after the physical copies are completely sold out.

Having fun with Mina the Hollower. Yes, the combat is pretty brutal, particularly early on when you have little health, attack or defence; but that's largely how I remember most of the classic Zelda games. Starting with 3 hearts gives virtually no forgiveness for mistakes.

You may not be aware, but The Hayseed Knight only crossed into 5,000 sales total two weeks ago. It's been on steam for 5 years and a half (since chapter 3). In the current games market, just because a game looks really good and you've heard about it, doesn't mean it was commercially successful!

Financial circumstances mean I am available, possibly even a little desperate, for freelance gigs that can use my abiltiies as a writer (Cryptmaster, Valheim, Ironheart etc) and voice actor (Cryptmaster). Anyone who can pump the visibility on this will have my eternal(ish) gratitude!

My partner told me that most people unconsciously assume that everyone else operates from their same worldview, contributing to our black-and-white judgment of others' actions. We choose to trust completely or not at all, when it is wiser to gradually move people as needed within layers of trust.
