Got the chance to play and finish Shadow Tower Abyss over the weekend, it was amazing. Super unique game, I highly recommend it to anyone who likes dungeon crawlers or is interested in some of the weirder stuff Fromsoft made before Dark Souls

Been playing some good Next Fest demos here and there, but the highlights for me have definitely been Toward Dawn and Mars Vice by @deviserene.bsky.social and @ruairirodinson.bsky.social respectively. Go give their games some love! They deserve it!

Honestly, I think balancing a D&D campaign is one of the hardest things I've done when it comes to making stuff. Chance plays such a big role that it's difficult to tell when an enemy is...well, difficult. At the end of the day I WANT my players to win. It's just difficult to strike a good balance.

Have you ever seen a game jam and thought 'oh i have the PERFECT idea for that theme' and then reminded yourself that you have zero experience and it's starting in less than a month and you really just do not have the time That's me. I am that right now.

You know, you never really realize how much stuff people buy until you start working in retail. Like you can imagine obviously, but seeing it from the other side of the counter feels odd. And very exhausting.

Character from my current Elden Ring playthrough! I wanted to do a 'survivalist' playthrough but I love the raging wolf set too much. So I guess he's kind of evolved in the last two pics. I like to think he's become a folk hero of sorts. #eldenring
