The problem is trying to find a writing group that I can ask if they'd read my stuff, and then get a response, even if its a no. So far this student org one is crickets.

It doesn't really irk me. I expected it. Just like I expect anything U.S. American run to reject my work until this administration is out. I'll just independently publish it. /shrug

I like eco-horror a lot. The rot of nature, the existential horror of facing down things in the wild we never encountered before, or the grotesque things human negligence creates. That or treating nature as the divine it was once revered as.

Awful. Chronic pain kept me from doing the floor I wanted to get done, and the yard I wanted to clean. My VA education stipend is still not in so money I need for the tools to even do it has gone to text books and gas.

So I called Atalanta a "good girl" to see if her face changed or tail wagged, instead I just got more Basset Hound RBF.

Finished #HeavenlyTyrant last night. Personal enjoyment? 4.5/5 Stars. While is suffers from middle book syndrome, it has a lot more personal drama. Being more critical? 3.5/5 Stars Pacing being one of the biggest impacts here. It suffers from middle book syndrome. Recommend? Yeah.

I have been working through #Cuckoo by Gretchen Felker-Martin and I don't know how I feel. I am 50% through and lost, grossed out, and not entirely impressed with it. 2/5 and I wouldn't recommend a read. The amount of sexualizing language with minors is just too gratuitous.
