Before the regular season began, the thought was the #Habs should be a playoff team but likely competing for a wildcard spot... Montreal finished with 106 points, had a 51 goal-scorer and a 101-point getter + advanced to the Eastern Conference Final.

Not many gave the #Habs a chance in Round 1 vs. Tampa yet here they were still playing games at the end of May in the ECF. As Martin St-Louis likes to say: “you can’t buy these reps.” No doubt the youngest team in the #NHL will learn from this and be better for it moving forward.

While there will be disappointment in how the #Habs season came to an end, let’s not forget to appreciate what the experiences [both good & bad] of this playoff run will have on the young core as they’re just entering their window to be competitive in the #NHL for years to come.
