Man, this was a rough year. It wasn’t as “bad day after bad day” as 2024 was for me, but those sour moments were pretty high up there in the “make a guy with slow working gears demotivated to work on personal projects” department. Might have even been a little soul crushing at points.

Been on a Mega Man kick recently, so I've been replaying a bunch of the games, including Mega Man & Bass, which I've just finished as Mega Man. I didn't think I'd do as much micro managing as I did with the Fortress levels in MM&B this time. And somehow, I still prefer this over Mega Man 8 overall.

I swear I have a curse of stuff breaking on me because I've just had the lid of a water bottle break on me after owning it for only a week.

Didn't think mobile gaming would be at the point where for the price of Sonic Mania Plus, you can buy a character skin that just wins every match because of the overpowered score multiplier they have, in a game where the final score is the deciding point for the winner. That's one way to rumble.

Didn't think I'd actually play all of the Halloween maps in TF2 this year, but I did, and all that contract fulfilling with buds made me want to go on Tiermaker and do a tier list of Halloween maps. There's no particular order for the tiers, and the yellow tags are the new maps for 2025.

I was almost got excited when I saw this, until I read it was from the studio who made Sonic Prime and Mega Man Fully Charged. At least the animation might look nice, but I don't see this turning out any better than one Skylanders cartoon episode that had Crash in it.

The new PC arrived yesterday and I think I can say I've got the grand majority of what I had transferred over safely. Gotta say, listening to some Mario Kart World and Supercell music in the background helped the migration process less panic inducing after what I went through.

I swear my PC can't catch a break, because I've just had to replace the entire power supply. The last one started to get unusually loud, and it would throttle after playing ANY game for around 20 minutes. I do mean ANY because I first noticed this on Ring Racers. So much for the PSU being "quiet".

I don't know why, but Fortnite always likes to make these drums low poly whenever I go to use the drum lounging emote. Heck this time today it also affected the character I was playing as. Hatsune Miku's hair is now one polygon.
