Lonely Souls is the episode of Twin Peaks that has 110% clicked with me. I liked a lot about the show. I appreciated and recognised a lot of that it does. I was fucking floored by this episode. I have never watched a show that left me in such a visceral emotional state before.

So...Nadine in Season 2. Look I love her in Season 1 but... By God it looks like the actress is having a blast at least And the super strength is an odd choice but fun choice

So big Final Fantasy fan I am now trying Tactics for the first time. I'm not necessarily far in but even then, I gotta say...yeah this lives up to the hype so far. In fact, this game is able to capture so many of my favourite elements of other entries and combine them all here, it's insane

My thoughts on Twin Peaks Season 1 is it is good and I can recognise why people adore it but for myself...I guess it suffers from being too hyped up for me. It just doesn't fully resonate with me I guess but I wouldn't say it's doing anything wrong

Bioshock Infinite campaign done. Epitome of style over substance in the worst ways. In place of anything interesting to say, it is a black hole of pretentious and annoying multiversal / time travel story telling and pathetic centrism that leaves you with nothing but the wasted potential.

Also no October Horror Movie marathon unfortunately. Too many video games in the backlog and I need to finish Twin Peaks

Consider me curious. I don't dislike the first Simpson's movie but in terms of animated sitcoms being turned into a movie it ranks considerably low despite its good points. Would be curious to see or they do a more focused and fitting plot for it

Arkham Knight is such a facinating game. By itself, it is a technically impressive standout with super satisfying gameplay. As a conclusion to a trilogy, it's easily the weakest with a significant dip in writing quality,the gameplay loop is the weakest and the pacing is pretty mixed.

In other news I am finally giving Arkham Knight another shot and this is such a facinating series trajectory. The improvements to the mechanics and combat is sublime, the attention to detail in every environment is mind boggling Yet nothing comes close to feeling of playing Asylum

Yeah I think the burnout on Silksong is real lol. Coral Tower is the shining example of this games weak points and even when I know the main approach is to just stop and go back after some other exploration but backtracking at the 50 to 60 hour mark is pushing it for me!

OK so, I kinda have one major issue with Silksong. There's a stretch of time where most of the challenge of the game is just "trapped in small room and survive wave upon wave of enemies. It's not the entire game but the fact it's something the game loves throwing at you is very boring at this rate

I'm shocked how fast Gotham by Gaslight wraps up the Jack the Ripper storyline. You would think it would stretch out a story based on one of the most infamous unsolved cases in history but nope Little build up and mystery to it all Kinda disappointed tbh Magnola does an amazing Batman though
