An unexpected consequence of returning to private civil practice, after years at the USAO, is that all the cases I’m citing in my briefs have names like “Consolidated Assocs. LLC, ex rel. Estate of Jones v. 621 Ocean Drive d/b/a Group Partnership Ltd., Inc.” I miss typing “United States v. Smith.”
