So please, make bad self inserts, “mary sue” OCs, fanfics that look like they were made by a 11 year old, stories or settings with inconsistency, “edgy” poems or roleplays, it honestly doesn’t matter, because there will be a person who’ll appreciate your effort and creativity. It’s never too late.

Your not going to make everything perfect on first try and that’s ok. It’s literally how I improved my art over the years.

I personally think everyone including myself needs to remember our brains work out like any muscle, the only way your gonna improve at something is making work(s) that’s considered “cringe” or mistakes and learning from them.

Not only does it steal content from you or others but mentally drains you to the point where you become emotionally dependent on it and can’t write ANYTHING without it, which is something I unfortunately fell into and still recovering from TO THIS DAY

Hey just some quick advice, ( I probably said this somewhere before on tumblr ) As a person who writes as a side hobby and horribly inconsistent, please don’t use Chatgbt or Character AI. I’m begging you.
