I've already got a blog in drafts (coming soon!) on the ableist choice to put the live subtitles behind a paywall, but here they've given a nice overview of all the Weverse digital member "benefits." These fit into 3 categories: things we should have for free, things we don't need, and AI garbage.

I was today years old when I learned Joon's voice is so deep in this clip because Tae asked him to lower it. (He DOES have a deep voice naturally & he HAS talked about how he pitches up & also projects when speaking publicly. Still, apt reminder of how easily the context of something can be lost.)

Interesting read with points that resonate with me. The past year made me reflect on my values, my ARMY identity, consumerism, what it means to support art/artists & stand in solidarity. My engagement has changed but my connection to BTS is solid, rooted in caring about people & trying to be better.

I went to a BTS ARMY related event on campus on Friday. We had a lovely academic discussion, had a DJ play BTS music for lunch, and celebrated the ceasefire. I'll say even with all the dark shit out there, it's important to also celebrate your community and lean into your joy where you can.
