Some people are calling @bsky.app a safe space for those of us who can't hack it on other platforms. Well, whatever. I'm calling it a sane place for those of us who've had enough of other platforms.

As a minister, seeing how many in the pulpit endorsed a man who embodies everything Jesus teaches against, I had to bring this back out. All churches do not represent Jesus. There's a choice between these two doors. They are not the same.

At some point in my life, I had to accept and realize that the non-readers in my life were just never going to read a book. Is it a fear or a hatred for books?

If anyone’s looking for alternatives to GoodReads, I highly recommend StoryGraph. It’s owned by a black woman, and the platform is so much more accessible and easy to use.
