There is a certain poetry in the Late Middle Breton Nomenclator (p. 47) glossing French coquille '(sea-)shell' with Breton <croguez>, since this is simultaneously a translation of coquille and a coquille for the correct Breton <croguen>.

This does not look like <guelyeñ> to me, but that's how Ernault read it. <guelreñ>?
