Easy run at Catford #parkrun. Looks like my scan failed but never mind. It wasn't a fast time. Ran home as a cool down and that's my running done for this month. Almost 120km. Wouldn't have thought it possible 2 months ago.

A little steady exercise and watching what I eat has made a big difference to my weight. I don't look any different, but I certainly feel better.

I volunteered at Hilly Fields #parkrun this morning. Didn't want to get wet shoes/sockes so I took my Xero Aqua Clouds out. Did a gentle jog there and back. 3km in total. Uphill out and downhill back. Surprisingly easy to run in, and really meke you work on your form. #minimalist

Managed the curly wurly at Thames Path #Parkrun. Really hot, but a nice course, well organised and friendly and supportive runners. Almost negative splits, but it was hot and I faded at the end.

Charldon #parkrun this morning. Managed a PB of 39:00, even with a loo break after lap 1. The cooler weather helped. As did the first week of training runs. I have an 8k long slow run tomorrow and that is week 1/10 done.

Following my scheduled "Easy" run today. 6km which I did along the nice flat Thames Path. I have such lovely places to run nearby. It's a shame I stopped for so long. Less than 10 weeks to The Big Half. I may not finish it fast, but if I stay on track I'll finish it strong. #running #thamespath

I've been binge watching Hawaii Five-0 on Paramount. (Don't judge me, it's easy to have on in the background. I don't need to think and cheesy TV keeps the demons at bay). But tha eds, i don't mind ads, but if you need to spray your bits and holes to cover smells, shower, or see a doctor.

This is a road that runs around Texel island in the Netherlands. 6am. One of my best runs years ago. Not far. Not fast. But the first time I had the feeling of running as effortless and I could go on forever. Flat. Nothing but the sound of the sea and birds.

I am now going to put my feet up and binge watch Hawaii Five-0

I did Charlton #parkrun this morning. PB 40:39. An improvement of 1:20. I remember when my goal was to beat 30m, now it's to beat 40. I tried my cheap Temu too socks with my #vibran #fivefingers for the first time and they worked so much better than I expected.

Since it's Royal Arsenal Farmer's market day tomorrow, I think I'll try for the Thames Path #parkrun in Woolwich and pop-along afterwards. Assuming I can wake up earlier enough for the bus.

I just snoozed away the afternoon. Exercise is hard.

I chose Charlton #parkrun. 42:20. Many thanks to the local cafe for donating bottles of water at the finish. I then walked 5k home. I am now going to put my feet up for a bit.

So, #parkrun tomorrow and my local, Hilly Fields, is closed (and, uh, "hilly"). I could do Charlton, or Thames Path. Charlton is mostly grass and flat, so easier for starting out, but I ran it last week. Thames Path is by the river, but has the hill midway.

One day. Just one; I'd like for my request to attend an Apple event to be successful. :(

Why is it so hard to get back to #exercise? For Reasons I've been completely sedentary and put on 10kg and I'm feeling it. I used to #parkrun, now I'm looking at using Zombies Run! Couch to 5k to build back up again.
