I’m not participating in April Fool’s Day because we’ve already hit the federal limit on foolishness for the year. Any more and the economy might collapse.

From what I’ve heard, the #USDepartmentofState used to be a reliable presence at career fairs but they cancelled on UMass Lowell today. Federal orgs have been largely missing from career fairs since late January. This is what widespread #layoffs and #hiringfreezes do on a grassroots level.

First, the #DepartmentofState didn’t make my university’s career fair. Now they’re not allowing our school’s visit to the UAE Embassy while we’re at the National Model Arab League Conference. I wish Harris had won.
