"Hmm~?" Pit blinked, turning to look at Asriel curiously for a moment. He blinked lightly when he realized that he had been spoken to by...well. a Goat. An adorable fluffy goat. "Oh hi! Don't mind me, I'm just lost and passing through. Not sure how I got here, but still."

"I wish I actually understood that." He stepped back, his eyes a touch wide as he nervously leaned against a fabricated shelf of light of his own creation. "But...she did, all the same. Attacked another angel, and was met with her divinity getting split away by that angel's family." --

Pit shivered, his wings slightly wrapping around him. They looked healthier than they used to, and yet somehow seemed to clearly have come at a cost. "...hearing you say that is comforting and yet so confusing. I almost can't even believe it's happening." He wiped his eyes frantically now.

The pain in his back scar seared up. Emotional trauma response, he was sure. But ... "I'm sorry to hear that. Last time I dealt with anyone with your face, I was stabbed. Literally." He stepped back, lowering the staff slightly. "Which, understand...is why I'm not inclined to trust you, either."

His inheritance of her staff showed on a draw, "Who are you? The only person I know with your face isn't a deity anymore. If this is a joke, it isn't a funny one, and I'm really not in the mood for mind games today." Though, a tremble rang through him. A shiver on his spine. "Why are you here?"

@descendinglight.bsky.social If there's anyone Pit doesn't expect to see today, it's Her. But that's exactly what he gets. Freezing in place upon the sight of her, his heart seized as though a ghost had reached in to grab it. But, the confusion was unreal. So much so that he couldn't even speak.

"Huh... Interesting. I understand why that would give you a headache..." He pursed his lips, tilting his head thoughtfully, "I'm glad you fought it off. At least it...seems to behave now? I hope-?" He feels completely at a loss, but somehow in a good way.

Don't mind this motherly Pit currently curled up with his son, watching movies. "Happy Mother's Day, Mom!" Cayden chirped softly, snuggling into his adoptive parent's side. Pit laughed gently, cuddling him lightly, "Thank you son."

To say Pit was stunned was an understatement, with his brows raised. Her tail was talking!? "That's not something you see everyday..." He murmured to himself, tilting his head, "How'd you end up having to deal with it?" A computer virus huh? Reminded him of...oddly enough, multiple things. ++

"Ah yeah, I caught on to that. I don't think they hate me though, I think they just figured I'd be okay. Or maybe they're trying to tell me something..." He raised a brow at the tug of war moment confusedly, but decided not to comment on it. Just chuckling lightly instead. ++

Pit looked down at the cookies and shrugged. As though convincing the cookies themselves that nothing was wrong with them. But then he smiled back at her. "Well, I'm a deity in the world I come from. I preside over light to be exact -- and that includes the ability to use it as a barrier." ++

Pit seemed to relax, though his barrier didn't go out. He sighed instead, offering a nervous smile. "Some other drone named K-? I thought my friend was finally taking me home, but I guess not." He shrugged lightly and offered his tray of cookies, "Would you like a cookie in these trying times?"

She's not the only one with a quick reaction time; Pit has the staff of his predecessor out in front of him and a barrier erected by the time the gun is fully aimed at him. ...he's been through a bit too much. "Literally just a guy from another world who's apparently being ++

"I'm...still here then. Just a different robot I guess?" He cautiously waved at this one, though he raised a brow at the manner of her. Flying robot pieces, a tail, and what seemed to be a much more chaotic attitude than the one prior. "Ah, hi there? Did you find what you were looking for?"

"A man, woman, and child..." Pit lingered, pondering this quietly as he closed his eyes in thought. A soft delicate humming escaping him before he gasped in elucidation. "The man...is he muscular? Black hair? Kinda angry looking? Giant sword maybe?" Pit could hardly keep his voice straight. ++

Pit couldn't shake his own sense of unease, but he contributed that to the unfamiliar world around him. "I'm almost surprised. The robotic species in my world acts like they would do so much more than humanity if they ever conquered Earth. And then here, you all just picked up where they were." +

Pit chuckled lightly at that, "I'm sure they'll like that. Poetry included. Sometimes the best things in life are the strangest." He hummed, a bit awkwardly himself, quietly nibbling on a cookie too. Feeling a bit at a loss in this strange place. This place so much different than his own. ++

"Maybe! Who even knows, they might cause it themselves with all the tinkering they do-" He laughed at that thought, rather amused at the thought of Semi and Dyntos accidentally dimension travelling. "As for what they would think, they have a very inquisitive nature between the two of them. ++

Pit's a mom. Of course he gets the message. He exhaled slowly, taking all that in the best he could. What exactly do you talk about when you've just randomly shown up in someone's world? Not even your own. Somehow this place reminded him of Ultima Thule. ++

Pit perked back up at the idea of a subject change. Definitely was a good idea. He certainly didn't feel like learning much more about the downfall of humanity or anything similar. And he didn't feel like lingering inside his own trauma either. "Good idea! I guess uh..." ++

"I'm... So sorry to hear that..." Hearing that not only had everything been destroyed in such a way, but that she had been forced to play a part was... Cruel. "...I got turned against humanity once, during that war years ago. Briefly was removed from my own body and... It... I..." ++

Pit's eyes widened significantly, his brows raised. He could feel his wings stiffen like boards. Humanity was gone here? Earth was gone? "Wow uh...dare I ask what happened? The planet I walk on in my world, and the race I fought to protect a decade ago, gone. That's..." Shocking to him, at least.

"Visions of people you don't recognize...?" Pit hummed curiously, carefully leaning himself against a small floating spot of light he conjured. "Care to describe it to me? I know a lot of beings in this world. Maybe I can understand it."

Pit laughed softly and shook his head, "Well one specifically does, but that's because they're..." Pit trailed, unsure whether to suddenly just spit out that hey he's a deity and so is the guy he thinks sent him here. "...They're peculiar, that's for sure." He smiled appreciatively when she ++

"I'll be sure to let you know! Though uh... something I can do for you? What might that be?" He asked curiously, tilting his head. He genuinely couldn't think of anything to ask about. But he was curious about what this spirit may need from him. "I'll certainly do my best to help."

Pit chuckled somewhat nervously, rubbing the back of his head with one hand. Still cradling the cookie tray in his other arm. "It... Shouldn't have been? I think one of my friends is messing with me again, hah..." He smiled weakly though, tilting his head as he shrugged, "I guess it's okay. ++

Pit just flies over, carefully plinking the egg in the hole along the way. Zooms right along. Nothing touched.

Pit watched on at him for a moment, quite amazed at the moment. What an interesting man. "I can think of a lot of times I would have liked to have a prophet in my corner." Several... So many things. "But...I haven't been too worried about the future lately, oddly enough."

"A prophet...? Wow-" Pit seemed quite surprised. Of everything he had dealt with, this wasn't quite on the list. Well... There had been false prophets in Eorzea. But this didn't seem to be that type of case. This guy seemed friendlier then half the sort he used to meet back then. ++

Pit blinked a moment, quite surprised before laughing softly, "Sorry sorry. I just hadn't seen you before. I didn't expect a new face." Nor ones surrounded by a blue flame circle but that was besides the point. "Who might you be?"
