My experience with CD key sites on my last four purchases has been so inconsistent. Tales of the Shire from GMG? They reduce the price right after listing it and give me trouble refunding the difference. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds from Humble Bundle? Get my key early and can redeem it no problem.

So I spent the last few days doing this, and I completely recommend against it. Grinding tickets for everything through normal gameplay took dozens of hours. Just wait for the Festival events to start grinding tickets, you'll hate your life much less.

I preordered this game from @humblebundle.com way in advance of launch. It is now close to two days since release, I still do not have a key nor have I heard even a word from Humble Bundle's support about where it is. What exactly did I pay $31.99 for? 🥲

I preordered Pac-Man World 2 from Humble Bundle and was really looking forward to playing it tonight, but despite it coming out over seven hours ago on Steam, I still haven't received the key yet. 😿 I hope I get it tomorrow... At least I was able to complete all the Super Sonic time trials instead.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I am a bit disappointed that the Undertale 10th anniversary stream showcased a new version of the game that seemingly isn't being released. I guess it's possible they're fine-tuning it first, but I'd gladly pay for a 10th anniversary edition with that content.

While the new Sonic CrossWorlds demo is unimpressive content-wise (just less than the ONT had), I was very relieved to see that they fixed the performance issues on Steam Deck. During the ONT, it lagged to heck at portals and I had to play on my Series X, but it seems they fixed it with this demo!

Now that I've finally finished Gold, I'm not sure what I want to play next. I sorta want to do a Switch Pokémon game for a more modern experience. But I also want to finish Dragon Quest III before the prequels come out next month, though I don't know if I need this much time to finish them. Hmm...

My experience hunting Lucky Eggs in Pokémon Gold this week: Day 1, ~3 hours: Three eggs, about one per hour. Wow, this is easy! I should get six for my whole party! Day 2, ~4 hours: Nothing for the first three hours, then two in the last! Almost there! Day 3, ~5 hours: NOTHING. Losing my mind. 🫠

If there's anyone who would be able to pick any of these up for me that don't need one themselves, I'd super appreciate it... GameStops are pretty far away from me and I'd rather not make a special trip. 😅
