Rereading my teaching statement from the last round of the job market and it reminded me of one of my student's ~amazing~ essays on the class and racial privilege that underpins Gilmore Girls I was in a very dark place that semester but I did actually enjoy teaching that class so much

the second chapter of my dissertation has real third chapter energy but today it finally got accepted for publication! (fourth time is the charm…) obviously i am biased but i actually finally have come to really like these findings and can’t wait to share it in print soon! 💫
