Sketchbook painting! It’s supposed to be orange, red and black but blues work too. Playing with hues and color with my blue guache tube.

Simple nurse sketch from last night, I am content with it, even with how simple and small it is.

Second half of the studies down below. Got the first hour of studies done today, I’m honestly feel pretty okay about this bunch. Being able to work on personal stuff last night was really nice, even if I have to make up for it today.

I will post my daily art studies tomorrow, my lack of solid output has kicked my ass, so instead of an hour tonight it will be two hours tomorrow. I want to focus on working on some other projects tonight to brighten my mood, or I think I might go nuts.

Second half of the sheets below. This was by far the most frustrating, demotivating session so far. Bad figure one after another really tore me apart, and I am not happy with anything I had put down. I am unsure if a break is necessary or I should just push through it.

Yesterdays studies

I put off my study too late, I did most of them but the remaining 10 figures I’ll do tomorrow morning with a cup of coffee, and I’ll post it with acceptable lighting (the morning sun)

Tried doing some extra blue mage art, realized too late I accidentally re-created Raya-Lucaria mages. It was, and still is incredibly frustrating. I will have to start from square one. A pity.

I found this on Pinterest and I think it perfectly describes my mood sometimes. I feel this on a spiritual level, this is one step away from being my spirit animal, look in awe, and in horror.

Studies for tonight, last two pictures down below. This time around was very exhausting, my motivation isn’t high and due to all the fuck-ups it was a bit demoralizing. However I’m aware improvements come with time, they are never immediate.

My studies for the day. The right page is jam packed so it might be difficult to read. Today is the second day out of what should be many.

The perfect snowflake landed on my hand this morning, the picture can’t do it justice. I love snow, I wish I had more of it.

I’ve begun the art grind. I’m going to 60 one minute gestures every day from now on. Are they good? No. However I have no doubt I will see improvement *eventually*. I apologize for the shitty lighting, it’s all I have currently.

Misc doodle. I liked a bridge I saw on Pinterest, I need practice with environments and I liked how it turned out.

Small update, I thought it could use alittle more work. Once I can afford colors I would love to paint his helm a black iron, but that would prove difficult.

I love him, he’s such a girlboss.

A small gift for @doomcogs.bsky.social , I liked one of their designs so much I sketched it out. I’m not completely happy with the end result, once I clear my plate I will definitely revisit the character.

I worked on this alittle more however I might switch it up or redo it another time, pretty meh on it.

Update on the snail girl. I really didn’t know what to do with the design, so I put a cork in it for now, maybe I’ll revisit it later.

Finished I think, might cut it out as a sign, maybe not. It’s missing a lot of details but for an experimental piece done with limited resources I say it’s okay.
