Over 200 students took part in House Rowing today. Spender edged Fitzmaurice amidst some highly competitive racing to secure a successful defence of this event and a 3rd win in 4 years. Dyson lead by 7pts after 4 completed events

The top 3 in House Cross-Country were separated by just 2 points with Fitzmaurice edging out Dyson & Spender. Well done to all 166 students who took part, with standout performances from Zak (Yr 9) and Holly for winning their respective races in outstanding fashion

Fitzmaurice prevailed again in the Year 7 Quiz to pull 1.5pts ahead of Dyson with Year 8 to come on Wednesday and the concluding Year 13 event on Thursday

Well done to Fitzmaurice who fought off a determined challenge from Spender & Dyson to win the Year 11 Quiz today. Three to go and Dyson & Fitzmaurice are tied at the top. Year 7 is next on Tuesday

Spender resumed their domination of House Netball in recent years with a convincing win in the Girls’ Years 12 & 13 combined event today, ahead of Dyson & Fitzmaurice

Fitzmaurice won Year 10 Football today and 2nd for Warneford means Dyson’s lead is a mere 2pts with just the Year 13 Boys’ event to complete after half-term.

A classy all-round performance from Warneford today saw them win Year 12 Boys’ Football in style. With Spender 2nd & Fitzmaurice 3rd, this eats into Dyson’s lead which is down to 4pts with 2 events to come.

Well done to Spender, winners of Year 8(B) Football on Friday ahead of Warneford. Some fine football on display including some spectacular goalkeeping. The result cuts Dyson’s lead to 5pts with 4 events left

Great skill, good finishing and brave goalkeeping were all features of an exciting Girls’ Football today, with Warneford ultimately pipping Dyson on GD. Dyson lead after 6/11 events

A reminder to Spender students in Years 8-13 that the deadline for parental consent for the Drayton Manor trip is Fri 12th. Please enter the student’s contact number in case we need to contact them at the park

Today’s conclusion of House Badminton saw Fitzmaurice win Year 9, but 2nd was good enough to seal the overall win for competition leaders Spender who thus extend their lead.

This week Years 7-10 students took part in House Cricket during Games. Dyson won Year 10, but a clean sweep of the rest gave Warneford a much needed win, ahead of Fitzmaurice & Dyson, meaning each has nibbled away at Spender’s useful but not insurmountable overall lead
