I'm working on a platformer game staring a little penguin named Marbles. The movement is heavily inspired by the Penguin Suit in Mario, and I thought it would be cool to base a game on that moveset. Did you know? In Super Mario Advance 4, the cape has a weird interaction with Big ? Blocks underwater when the player stands on it. Instead of being in a rest state when the player isn't moving, the cape moves as if the player is walking.

Made a bunch of tiles in the style of SMB1 (as seen in SMM2)! Tried to not just do a bunch of recolors, but there is a few because it made sense.

It’s really cool to see a bunch of redesigns of this normally basic character! Didn’t expect everyone to go the Princess direction tho. I guess it kinda makes sense since she is always pointing you in the direction of the queen lol Anyway, made some extra poses for her!
