, excavated in 1901. This mosaic had faces in each corner, representing the four seasons. Only Summer and Winter survive.

Discovered in the 1930s, the Roman Town House in Dorchester is the only example of such a building fully exposed for visitors in Britain. It dates from the 4th century and comprises two separate ranges around a small courtyard. It also features 2 hypocausts and excellent mosaics
