In raiding my kids' Halloween haul, I'm finding the Almond Joy is the most accurate candy name as it contains almonds and gives me joy.

Just got halfway through reading a book before thinking...I've read this before. But still going to finish because I don't remember the ending 🤨

Can't say enough good things about this book -- would've loved to have read it as a middle-grader, but enjoyed it just as much now - scary, clever, and perfect framing device -- Glad to have heard about it on the Talking Scared podcast!
