. . . . Another one? This time she cares enough to at least look in the direction that it came from. She squints, seeing a figure in the trees above her. Maybe she should just go home.

Tron could be heard shouting from afar. “I’ll let you use a saw!”

“. . . . What? No. I am unsure if even that would explain your behavior sometimes. I also have no plans do that.”

[NC] “If you do anything reckless I will explode your core myself.”

"Hm. . . ?" Tempo is. . . relatively unbothered. Maybe a little bit curious about the sudden projectile, but not enough to seek out what produced it. Seemed harmless.

“I do not understand the fun in that. . . . If you are so commonly around these individuals I would. . appreciate if you kept in touch more. So I am aware that you’re. . alive.”

“I have not interfered with anything, so I find it doubtful there would be a reason.”

“I am glad to of been assistance. . . .?” Tempo feels as if she is missing some sort of context.

Tempo seems to pop up out of nowhere. “Tron informed me that you hadn’t planned on sleeping last night. Which. . has been proven to be false. But I had been periodically checking on your both.”

Unbeknownst to their marker war, Tempo has managed to spend her first night at the base back and forth between checking on @heroicmisadventure.bsky.social and @purifyinglegend.bsky.social .

[NC] Staring at her. Emotions of any kind weren’t her strong point but. Come on.

[NC] “. . . . You already know what I’m going to suggest.”

“If that is what it takes to make sure the both of you actually get some sleep, then I will do so.”

“I am having trouble comprehending why so many people seem to insist on doing that. I feel as if I should check on him too, then. . “

“. . . . Somehow everyone that I know managed to be here aside from me. I will have to check on his status as well. The both of you have similar issues with taking care of yourselves sometimes. “

“I see. Regardless, I do not think either of us will be leaving for the night. I am hopefully not intruding on. . . whatever here is.”

“Yes. He also told me to say hello to you and. . . Mister Walnut?”

“If you have a sleeping space here, then you should use it. I will bring you to my home again another time. . . . . . I also think the servbot who brought me here left.”

“You should head to one of those then, don’t you think?” Tempo crosses her arms.

“He is? That is good to hear. It was strange that I haven’t seen you around lately.” Tempo was curious about what. . all of this was. But she was more concerned with her friend’s lack of self care. “There are beds here, I assume?”

[NC] “. . . .? I cannot imagine he would do anything to harm you.”

[NC] "Correct. You will. But you also will tonight."

"Yes. Well, partially at least. I felt concern at your absence." Tempo studies Tron's face, offering her a hand to help her up but clearly seeing the bags under her eyes. "You did not hurt yourself, did you? I am unsurprised that you seem to have been neglecting your sleep."

[NC] "I am sure you already know my answer."

Luckily for Tempo, she didn't have to wander the base for very long before finding her friend. She approaches her from behind. "Tron. It is late." . . . Of course those would be her first words upon seeing her again.

“Mister Walnut. . . .? I will if I see them? . . . . Thank you for your assistance.” Tempo enters the unfamiliar base, unsure of where to begin.

“Hm. I see. I hope she is not neglecting her sleep.” Tempo follows behind, entering the Drache after the Servbot.

“Yes, I am. I would appreciate your help. She is. . . doing alright, I assume?”

Fascinating choice of snack. But that didn’t really concern her. “The. . . what?” She really was thoroughly out of the loop. “Is that nearby?”

“She’s not. . .? That explains why I haven’t seen her then. Thank you. . ‘little’ one.” Tempo steps inside to ask a Servbot for assistance. She approaches one that looks like it’s happily snacking. “Do you know Tron’s current location?”

. . . Not the greeting she had expected. “You seem tired, I apologize for disturbing you. Could you get your sister for me?”
