Interesting article regarding Novavax's ability to elicit mucosal immunity (IgA). Several of my boosters have been Novavax, including the one I had this fall. Novavax's current booster is still targeting the JN.1 Variant, & appears to be effective on a wider variety of variants than mRNA vaccines.

It makes little sense to use Hepatitis B testing as a strategy to not vaccinate newborns with a safe & effective vaccine, when you are still recommending vaccination at a later age. Delaying vaccination will cause patient dropout, diminishing the chances of widespread vaccination & eradication.

Matthew Campen, PhD from UNM presented recent research on the bioaccumulation of microplastics in human brains. His work, published in Nature Medicine, found that microplastics are present in various human tissues, with notably higher concentrations in the brains of individuals with dementia.

Long COVID in children & reinfections. A large retrospective study, which looked at the diagnostic code for Long COVID, U09.9. Thus, a large bias in not finding cases. The mean age was 8.9 yrs, & children were 2X as likely to develop long COVID with the 2nd infection than with the 1st infection.
