🍁🐺🍁 On our walk yesterday, we found that trickster coyote stole a wild ones' water bowl and left it in a field about 50' away. We saw beautiful autumn colors from a few maples planted before we came! We have one native maple with dinner-plate-size leaves! 💛🍁🧡Zip & Zoë

#DailyAnipalPhotoOct2025 Day 11: FAV TOY We share our land with many wild ones who were here first. The coyotes' favorite toys (when we don't leave our balls outside) are the cones that line our driveway so big trucks don't get stuck in mud! We found one on our grass yesterday! 💛

🛬🛫Wednesday’s “welcome home” for us! Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island hosts the entire fleet of EA-18G Growler long-range, all-weather aircraft used for electronic warfare and suppressing enemy air defenses. The touch-and-go practice seen here is for carrier landings. Feels kind of safe!
