It took a loooong time to sort and mount all of these tubes of paint. Happy with the result though. Technically my first artwork on oils.

Work in progress. This poor Bic fineliner has been at it for four hours and it’s about 10% of the way through this picture. I reckon it’s going to take until the end of the week to finish.

A new laser cut landscape. This one is A3, and made of 14 birch panels painted various shades of red and white. I originally painted it shades of red and yellow but the mid-tones were a horrible peachy colour that HAD to go.

New 3D wooden landscape: After the tide goes out. Five layers of birch panel, laser cut, painted, and varnished.

A work in progress sitting in a sunny window so I can see how / where it catches the light. Eight birch sheets, laser cut fixed with 8mm bolts, nuts, and washers. It still needs painting.

Just finished this one called A Day at the Beach. It’s eight layers of laser cut birch wood, painted and bolted.
