Kid just finished their history final which covered (gulp) the 1970s-1990s. We were chatting about the ERA and they just said “Phyllis Schafly looks like she ran her HOA.” I am dying laughing. There is no burn like a teenager burn.

I really do need to ask whether the people pushing for laws banning social media for teens/kids have ever met a teenager. Like, any teenager. Sneaking around rules is part of their job description.

Our governor just announced one of his “top priorities” for the next legislative session is a bell-to-bell phone ban in K-12 schools and while I don’t necessarily disagree with this (my kid’s school already has a similar rule), I am not sure about it being a TOP priority considering…everything.
