A bit of carpentry today. We're replacing a larder unit so I cut of the bottom to make a smaller cupboard and now making a top from some old laminate. It's a temporary cupboard until we decide what we want.

I used up our excess courgettes in a loaf this morning and followed it up by picking a load of apples off the tree before the winds arrived. Now need to use them before they turn.

That's the last of the rainbutt water used up so I've washed all 4 out in preparation for the deluge... whenever that may be.

Came home this afternoon to find the conifers at the end of our garden have been cut down. Now my new patio is in full view of 2 houses 🙁. And they were used by goldcrests.

Missing that lovely warm weather from the beginning of July.

I've spent the whole morning sweeping down and then jet washing our 3 patio areas - one of the jobs best done naked. All in prep for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday and nephew's kid's 1st. Quite a span. Just need to assemble the gazebo and we're all set. #doingnormalstuffnaked

Found this guy at the top of our Apple tree. Google tells me it's a Dryads Saddle which is edible but I'll leave it be, mainly because I can't reach it.

Another walk around Burrington Coombe but a different route. Met 2 dog walkers (male and female), a walker and a cyclist (both male). Just a cheery hello from all.

Lovely day to replace the edging on the bed. Already removed 3 bags of chippings, now digging a shallow trench and on to painting bitumen on the boards.

Frustrating walk today. Planned a 5.75 mile walk but due to paths being neglected ended up as 6.9 😡. At least I could do most of it naked and get a bridge picture in as well. #nudeonabridge

I've spent the morning washing stone chippings after re-edging a garden path. All the work had meant lots of soil and debris on the path. I can start on the other side after next week.

Listening to one of my podcasts (History of England), I was surprised by the start of an advert. It was offering £10 off at IKEA for naturists. It then went on to offer to bookworms, cat people and hay fever suffers 😁 and anyone else.

I know #WNGD is tomorrow but I'll be away on hols then so did mine today. Digging up some weeds; cutting back neighbour's jasmine, ivy and honeysuckle; mowing the lawn (obvs); and turning the compost. To be frank, all this week has been NGD.

Last of the real scorchers for now? I hope everyone is making the most of this weather.

Giving a bit of TLC to our old bench. Sanded off earlier and now applying the teak oil. Leave to dry and it'll be like new.

2 cycle rides today. Out to the moho to take it to the garage and then back home. The garage did say they might have it ready today which would the whole lot in reverse but thankfully it hasn't happened... yet. And then there's the Bristol Naked Swim later in the evening.

Weather is absolutely glorious but it does bring its own problems. Sun shade down or sun shade up. My wife says down when she's out and I'm saying up. First world problems. 😁

The day has finally improved enough to sit out rather than continue edging the lawn.

I've spent most of today cutting 2 large branches from next door's eucalyptus tree. That's a load of firewood in a few years time. Purple line was the first down and the one marker in red was this afternoon's effort.

First beach day of this year... and yes, the sea is cold, very cold. Took the long way round for a bit of a walk.

We had a good walk up to Golden Cap today. Weather was cool to start but warmed up towards the end. It would make a nice naked walk but probably be very busy later in spring.

Down in East Devon for a few days to open up our caravan after the winter. What a change from yesterday. No chance of being naked outside today.

Coffee and toast time on the patio in glorious sunshine. If only everyday was like this!

Year's first game of golf playing for my brother's village in their "Cyder Cup" (they're in Somerset 😁), a Ryder Cup in a round. Ended up on the winning team and then found I was champion golfer for last year - presented with a miniature cup as I'd be unable to make the annual dinner.

After a couple of lethargic days (one induced by painkillers and the other by rugby and theatre), I decided to push it this morning. Resistance bands, fartlek run, more bands and a finishing 10 min sprint. Now too exhausted to get my lunch 😁

Emergency appointment at the dentist this morning after toothache over the last few days. Heard 3 horrible words... Root canal work. 😔
