This is three-- four days early but I wanted to do something for my fiance @asaltyrat.bsky.social for Mayternity -- haven't fully recovered from the spinal injury yet but I'm able to sit down and do some artwork again.

So, update, since I've been unable to use a computer up until now. As it turns out my first doctor was wrong. Not only did he tell me 'it wasn't my bones' but he judged this off of blurry x-rays which the public hospital rejected and they were redone, showing I had a spinal fracture.

I was discharged late afternoon with a script for stronger painkillers to be used when the pain is severe, and, lo and behold today I feel so much better without pain dominating my every thought. So here's this I hammered out in less than an hour.

I'm sorry I haven't been active lately I am suffering from intense lumbar region pain which my doctor diagnosed as UTI -- I'm essentially bedridden and can't do artwork . So uh yeah I need to recover for a bit

I've been asked by my fiance to post my old sketches, ones that I've never posted anywhere. I drew this at the time when I was still a player in a homebrew game that my fiance was GMing. By the time I got satisfied by the sketch, the story had moved on. Still wanted to do something with it.

I know I've been posting thick lately. It's a thing. I'm working through my pile of sketches and pending works though now that I don't feel terrible.

Stuff is moving today, last piece will be the PC and router (ISP company has been informed beforehand and has moved infrastructure, just needs the rest of the stuff to move)

Doing updates on how I do pricing based on recommendations by my partner. Alright, so. Baseline: $20 for a headshot $40 for a bust $60 for a fullbody Plus modifiers for complexity (colored lines, etc.) I'll take about ten-- twelve at the most but that's pushing it-- commission slots a month.
