I got an external drive for backing up my home directory on my Linux machine. I want to do rolling updates in case I want to go back for a file I deleted or edited, space permitting. Is rsync still the best option for this sort of thing?

This week, the #python Software Foundation rejected a $1.5MM NSF grant, due to a requirement that the PSF abandon diversity work. So I joined forces with Python folks (@offby1, @petrillic, @amethyst) and we're matching up to $12,000 of donations to the PSF. 🧵

Just a quick thanks for all the "thank you" comments on my PSF CoC WG retirement. That plus all the positive reactions to the PSF turning down the NSF grant was a very nice reminder how awesome the Python community is!
