#rovers can’t have any complaints losing this one. Oxford started both halves miles the better team. The second half, they bossed it until late on. Oxford keeper rarely tested throughout. They threatened in stoppage time to level it with a few scares.

#oxford 0-0 #rovers. Bright start for the hosts, Rodrigues had a goal ruled out for offside. Buckley with a shot wide, and Weimann bringing a save from the keepers legs, the closest they’ve been. Tronstad off with what looks like a hamstring.

Today was a convincing 1-0 win for Rovers. They created the better openings, missed some really good chances and should have tested a keeper more who had an error in him. At 1-0, the defence never looked in any real danger. Round 4 draw tomorrow.

Massive credit to #rovers for frustrating another of the division's big hitters. Leeds had a lot of the ball but Aynsley Pears wasn't called on too much. The back line were outstanding as were the two in front. I've not seen a conclusive angle on the penalty that was given.

I thought Dom Hyam was outstanding yesterday in #rovers win. I expected him to captain the team, he didn’t. He’s back to his best this season after an injury affected one last year. Him & Owen Beck were both excellent.

#rovers win it 1-0. Job done in very tricky conditions. Huge credit to the back line for standing strong three matches in a row. 4 straight wins, things looking good.

The much missed, Len Johnrose was born 55 years ago today. A sharp shooter, straight talker, courageous, fearless, inspirational guy. I miss him greatly. He was a real one off.

A highly enjoyable evening at the Northwest Football Awards. Great to see Ian Rush recognised for his vast achievements in the game. He was a pleasure to work with back in the Century FM days.
