Simple dinner last night. Last of the big & gorgeous “localish”tomatoes stuffed with a savory chicken salad, topped with havarti cheese and warmed until the cheese melted. Bed of salad greens, avocado and crusty multi grain bread made the meal.

A sausage ragout with red peppers and onions, spinach and peas in a simmered rich tomato sauce on pappardelle pasta plus freshly grated Parmesan. The ubiquitous salad on the side. Yum.

Enjoyed some delicious treats at a café w/ colleagues on our way to NUE airport yesterday—a German-style smoothie bowl (Acai Bowl) n avocado toast. The smoothie bowl was the Acai Base—a perfect blend of fruity flavors n a silky-smooth sweetness. Who else loves this dessert?

In-flight meals: Tortelloni w/ creamy white sauce, roasted cherry tomatoes & mushrooms, plus veggie salad. Tasted acceptable, but sadly missed out on my fave pan-seared Chilean sea bass. United Airlines's long-haul in-flight meals seem to have improved! ✈️💺
