Sadr region, I think it looks like a Swallowtail Butterfly but I've heard broken heart as well.

We all stayed up for the eclipse last night. My first editing attempt. FRA300, ASI 2600MC Duo, taken within 5 minutes of maximum. Seeing this up in the sky looked like Mars with a polar cap. Very very cool.

I'm up to 127 minutes on the Horsehead using the Askar 71F and an older 294MC Pro camera. Took a month just to get 2 nights of images. Broadband, UVIR filter.

I'm working on a widefield rig by pairing a 2600 with a Rokinon 135mm lens. I was able to get down to F2.8 using paper spacers (if you have this lens you know!). This was the only mostly clear night I've had recently. Not perfect but a decent first try.

My first look at NGC 2174, commonly called the Monkey Head nebula. Askar 71F, 2600MC PRO, 14F(-10C)! Seeing was fantastic, temps not so much.

Comet C-2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) still visible from the driveway (front corner of the garage in this case). Amazingly clouds cleared for the 50 minutes I can see this. Count the stars ...
