It takes courage to see the people we love as whole, complicated creatures shaped by wounds we never witnessed. That kind of seeing rearranges the heart. It loosens the hooks of blame and opens a door that is less about forgetting than it is about breathing again.

It’s easy to forget that we are more than the sum of our heartbreaks. Advent helps us remember. It brings light to the places we thought were too small or too late. #advent

Some wounds don’t disappear quickly. But mercy has patience for the long story. Advent reminds us that God is already moving within the pages we have not yet learned to read. #advent

There’s something holy about being seen with gentleness. It loosens what fear tightens and breathes space into what shame compresses. Advent invites us into that kind of seeing. #advent
